Set Address Alerts

Push alert setup

iPhone (IMPORTANT)

  1. Open NT Crime in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Open the app from your Home Screen icon
  5. Return here and tap Enable push alerts

Android

  1. Open this page in Chrome
  2. Tap Enable push alerts
  3. Allow notifications when prompted

Push alerts may not work if you use a normal browser tab on iPhone. Always open NT Crime from the Home Screen icon.

Save up to two exact locations for browser/app push alerts, for example your home and a family member's house.

Exact location needed: For this feature only, the app needs the exact saved address or exact device GPS point so it can compare reports against your chosen radius. Public reports still hide exact incident addresses for privacy.
Do not rely on alerts for safety. Alerts may not work, may be delayed, or may be blocked by device/browser settings. By saving address alerts, you agree to the Terms of Use.

Push Alerts

Save your alert address first, then enable push alerts on this device. These are browser/app push alerts, not SMS. On iPhone, open NT Crime from the Home Screen icon, not a normal Safari tab.
